Big news from the NIX cloud team: we’ve officially earned the AWS Cloud Operations Competency—a recognition awarded to a select group of AWS Partners who’ve demonstrated the ability to help businesses run secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments.

What is the AWS Cloud Operations Competency?

The AWS Cloud Operations Competency allows customers to choose validated AWS Partners with proven capabilities in streamlining and supporting cloud operations at scale. Partners must meet strict standards, including certifications, real-world case studies, and technical reviews.

Most importantly, it reflects operational maturity across three core areas:

  • Cloud Governance

Setting up secure, cost-efficient cloud environments with clear policies from day one. It helps businesses stay compliant and reduce risks, while managing cloud growth smoothly.

  • Monitoring and Observability

Helping businesses see what’s happening across their cloud and hybrid systems at any moment. With faster issue detection and insights into system health and performance, teams can act before problems impact users.

  • Operations Management

Simplifying day-to-day cloud operations using automation and smart tools. From managing changes and configurations to handling incidents, it keeps everything running smoothly—on AWS, on-prem, or anywhere in between.

In simple terms, it means NIX helps businesses take full control of their cloud without compromising speed, visibility, or security.

Becoming an AWS Cloud Operations Competency Partner is a seal of trust. 

AWS evaluated NIX’s cloud operations approach. After rigorous validation, we were approved to join a global group of just over 130 companies worldwide with this Competency.
