NIX is known internationally for its consistently high standards of delivery and genuine care for its clients. As part of that same commitment, we are issuing this notice to help clients, partners, employees, candidates, and other market participants identify the official NIX brand and avoid ending up with an unrelated business simply because its name looks or sounds like NIX.
The primary global website for NIX is nix-united.com. NIX also supports its regional operations through several authorized websites: nixsolutions.com, operated in Ukraine by NIX Solutions Ltd.; nixstech.com, operated in Hungary by NIX Tech Kft.; and vertextech-eg.com, operated in Egypt by VerteX Technologies LLC. At the time of publication, these are all the websites authorized to represent the NIX brand.
If you encounter a business or website using a similar name that is not listed above, it is not affiliated with NIX and is not authorized to represent the NIX brand.
The NIX brand is protected through a portfolio of trademark registrations covering Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom and European Union, with an application pending in Egypt. The portfolio includes the core NIX word mark as well as related NIX marks.
In the United States, the NIX word mark is federally registered under Registration No. 5,763,171. The registration was issued in 2019, and it was renewed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2025.

One example of how similar branding can create marketplace confusion involved the registration of the trademarks closely resembling the NIX brand.
One company in 2022 applied to register the figurative “N-iX” mark. Representatives of NIX opposed the application before the Ukrainian intellectual property authority, and the mark has not been registered in Ukraine.
The company also obtained a registration for the figurative “N-X” mark covering, among other things, software development and related IT services. NIX challenged that registration in court. In Case No. 910/4986/25, the Commercial Court of Kyiv granted the claim in full and invalidated the registration with respect to the specified goods and services.

The decision was implemented, and the invalidation of Ukrainian Trademark Certificate No. 324023 with respect to the specified goods and services was recorded in the Ukrainian trademark register and published in Bulletin No. 20 on May 20, 2026.
The same company then brought a separate civil claim seeking the early termination of the longstanding NIX word-mark registration owned by Igor Braginskyy. In Case No. 757/25332/25-c, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv dismissed the claim, finding that the NIX mark had been actively used in Ukraine with the owner’s authorization.

On July 2, 2026, the Supreme Court of Ukraine set aside the lower-court decisions and remanded the case for further consideration. NIX disagrees with the Supreme Court’s decision and is preparing a complaint to the High Council of Justice of Ukraine. In the meantime, NIX is preparing for the hearing on remand scheduled for August 27, 2026.
