Our client is a global leader in providing advanced educational and informational solutions for the science and healthcare sectors. Since African countries required innovative solutions for improving healthcare education, especially in the area of women’s health, the client signed a contract with the French government, which was also interested in enhancing healthcare in Africa.
Their mission was to develop a comprehensive educational application for gynecological sample collection based on visionOS. This application would significantly improve medical knowledge among doctors in villages through remote education, ultimately raising the standard of female healthcare across the continent.
Given our successful track record of collaboration with the client and our specialized expertise in visionOS, they engaged NIX to boost their in-house development capabilities and bring this ambitious project to life.
The primary challenge centered on a tight development timeline, driven by the need to present a functional solution to stakeholders in two months. However, we not only succeeded in meeting deadlines but also utilized industry-best practices to ensure design and architectural consistency and scalability for future upgrades.
Joining the client’s in-house development team, our visionOS specialist played a pivotal role in accelerating the solution’s creation. Leveraging the client’s existing 3D models of gynecological chairs, toolboxes, various collection instruments, and additional medical equipment assets, our expert orchestrated the whole scene development. Working alongside the in-house team, our specialist also defined sample collection actions and precise asset positioning, ensuring an accurate depiction of the entire medical workflow. Our expert’s professional assistance enabled the flawless execution of the proof of concept (PoC) and minimum viable product (MVP) within six weeks, successfully meeting critical deadlines.
The finished application immerses students into a virtual medical scene via the Apple Vision Pro headset, while guidelines lead them step-by-step through the entire medical workflow. The full range of application features includes:
